GCA Statement on COVID-19 as of 03/19/2020*

* GCA recognizes that we are in dynamic times in which things change very quickly. As of the writing of this message, most members of our arts community state-wide have committed to social distancing and as a result of the CDC’s guidelines that recommend cancelling gatherings of 50 or more people for the next 8 weeks have closed for a period of time, canceled events and programs, and in some cases, have canceled the remaining season. We stand with the arts community and will do everything we can to support the sustainability and economic vitality of the individuals and organizations that fuel our cultural life and identity in Georgia.

Updates regarding GCA grants and resources and guidance for responding to and recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic have been added today, including information on SBA loans and implications for nonprofits of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act. We will routinely update these pages as new information is available. Information has been divided into the following categories: GCA Grants, Resources for Arts Organizations, and Resources for Individual Artists and can be accessed by clicking on the images below.
