GaArts_ChangeTheConversation

The Georgia Council for the Arts is excited to partner with Americans for the Arts to announce the launch of Arts & Economic Prosperity 6 (AEP6), the sixth national study of the economic impact of the nonprofit arts and culture industry. This study will result in Georgia’s first statewide arts economic impact study.

At the national level, AEP5 showed that the nonprofit arts industry generated $166.3 billion in economic activity, supporting 4.6 million jobs and generating $27.5 billion in government revenue. In Georgia, our arts industry generates $62.5 billion in economic activity annually. Our local nonprofit arts and culture organizations have been and will continue to be critical to our economic recovery.

We need your help to collect data for AEP6

How can you help?

CONDUCT AUDIENCE INTERCEPT SURVEYS AT YOUR EVENTS
GCA is charged with collecting hundreds of surveys from arts and cultural event attendees across the state between now and the end of April in order to document how much attendees spend on top of ticket costs. You may distribute paper surveys, or have audience members complete the surveys electronically.

The link will take you to a document which includes complete instructions, the paper survey, and a QR code that your patrons can use to complete the survey electronically.
