“Art of Georgia” seeks to capture the diversity and uniqueness of communities and landscapes throughout Georgia. In collaboration with the Office of the Governor, GCA facilitates this display of contemporary Georgia visual artists. The works are primarily on display in the executive offices of the State Capitol and the Ballroom of the Governor’s Mansion, allowing policymakers, visiting dignitaries, and guest of the Governor’s Office to appreciate the beauty of the state. Since 2012, the “Art of Georgia” showcases have provided a showcase for hundreds of Georgia artists.
