Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra

The mission of the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra is to enhance the quality of life for Johns Creek and North Metro Atlanta residents through the presentation of high-quality performances, educational and other outreach programs that reflect the cultural diversity of the community. The Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra is Atlanta's only fully-professional, part-time symphonic orchestra, made up of professional musicians from all over greater metro Atlanta. In its 17-year history, the orchestra has seen steady growth in audiences and the expansion of activities to include free concerts at Newtown Park, sensory-friendly concerts for the special needs community, in-school educational programs, and outreach programs for senior living and activity centers.

JCSO has three chamber ensembles that are available for recitals or teaching/performing presentations: a string quartet, a woodwind quintet and a brass quintet. Presentations are tailored to the specific needs of the host, but are usually 60-90 minutes in length. These ensembles are wonderful in schools, nursing homes, parks, and many other settings.
