A Company of Friends (ACOF) Educational Productions Professional Troupe has been touring Georgia libraries, schools, and children's events since 1999, bringing high quality, interactive, musical, and learning experiences to thousands of children annually. ACOF was a Teaching Artist with Arts for Learning and Young Audiences of Atlanta. The professionals working with ACOF have more than 35 years of experience in children's theatre performance, drama workshop instruction, and curriculum creation. They also have more than 30 years of experience serving in the role of private children's theatre acting coach. Members of the troupe include two former teachers, the creator of a special needs theatre program for high school students in California, music theatre camp directors, instructors for more than 25 years, and former Arts for Learning teaching artists.

Program Fees:

  • School Performances: $585 for one performance, $725 for two back-to-back performances, $815 for three back-to-back performances
  • Library Performances: $385 for one performance, $455 for two back-to-back performances, $515 for three back-to-back performances

($0.65 per mile gas allowance for locations more than 30 miles from Peachtree City; hotel allowance of $60 per night for locations more than 50 miles from Peachtree City)

Artistic Profile:

A Company of Friends (ACOF) Educational Productions Professional Troupe has been touring Georgia libraries, schools, and children's events since 1999, bringing high quality, interactive, musical, and learning experiences to thousands of children annually. ACOF was a Teaching Artist with Arts for Learning and Young Audiences of Atlanta. Our 2017 Musical Touring show offering is "The Big Bad Bullysaurus." When Paleontologist Misty learns that her niece, Natalie, is being harassed by a local bully, she tells her the story of Roxy Rex, a young and posh dinosaur with a bully problem of her own. During this live musical play audiences journey back in time to Dinosorri Elementary School and watch while Roxy Rex and Natalie both learn a lesson about friendship and the importance of forgiveness. Filled with heart and humor and four original songs that add sparkle, The Big Bad Bullysaurus entertains audiences while touching on a very timely issue.

  • A Fairyland Fable: There's trouble in Fairytale Land. The Fairy Godmother must find out who is stealing Cinderella's and Snow White's most precious possessions. With a little bit of magic, plenty of laughs, clever audience interactions, and a lot of adventure, we find the villain is none other than the Ice Princess herself. But, the reasons for her crimes go much deeper than just the tip of the iceberg! Lessons of honesty, friendship, and trust are taught, as well as finding out that jealousy and loneliness can certainly cause anyone to have a bad attitude, which can be changed through love, acceptance, and understanding!
