GCA Announces Georgia Teaching Artists Registry Call for Applications

Georgia Council for the Arts (GCA) is pleased to announce a call for applications for the Georgia Teaching Artists Registry.

In an effort to provide meaningful resources to schools and organizations, and to help promote the work of our state's best teaching artists, GCA recently relaunched the Georgia Teaching Artists Registry. The agency is seeking to expand the number of artists on the registry to serve more schools and organizations, as well as to include greater artistic diversity and geographic reach throughout the state.

Qualified teaching artists must be a resident of Georgia, must have a combination of training in their artistic field and experience working with students, and must be able to pass a background check.

The Georgia Teaching Artists Registry application form is available online. The deadline to apply is April 28, 2017. If you have questions about the application or selection process, please contact Allen Bell, Arts Education Manager, at abell@gaarts.org.
