Inspired Georgia: 28 Pieces from Georgia’s State Art Collection
On Tour October 2013 through December 2014

Georgia Council for the Arts in partnership with the Georgia Tourism Division and the Georgia Humanities Council is pleased to announce that for the first time in decades, a curated exhibit of selected pieces from the State Art Collection is available to Georgia communities.  The new exhibit, “Inspired Georgia: 28 Works from Georgia’s State Art Collection” highlights the diversity of styles, media and techniques in the collection.
Nine Georgia communities have been selected to host the exhibit over the next 14 months. The exhibit is intended to serve as a springboard for additional arts and culture activities that serve to celebrate and increase awareness for the local cultural community and increase tourism.
